We are currently seeking a Interior Design Student Intern for our Internship program. It is a non-paid structured experiential learning opportunity. It supplements an academic program building work experience based on the requirements for the NCIDQ certification as well as future career opportunities. The participant will assist designers in all phases of the design process as it pertains to the competency areas of the program. The competency areas that support this program include: programming, schematic design, design development, contract documents, contract administration, professional practice and FF&E Specifications. You will receive general work experience that can assist you in taking the NCIDQ exam and can be used to develop your resume. We are a small firm specializing in hospitality and Corporate industry. We believe in building strong foundation for future designers.
Must currently be enrolled in an educational program geared toward Architectural or Interior Design requiring an internship for school credit.
We are looking for a well spoken, self-motivated, fast learner with a strong design sense.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, AutoCAD (2008 or higher), and Revit. Knowledge of 3D Studio or other 3 D model building software as well as Photoshop is preferred.
